Images of the modelbox design for the set of 946: The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips. Designed by Lez Brotherston, the model features a spinning propeller attached to a high platform, tin baths around the edge of the stage and details of the sandbags that surround the outside of the arch, mimicking that of an Anderson Shelter from WWII. The modelbox allows the company to see how Lez’s idea for the set will look, which may influence the rehearsal process. It also allows for changes in the detail to be made before the construction of the set itself begins.

Modelbox created by Lez Brotherston, 2015.
