Dead Dog in a Suitcase (and other love songs) – Fly-Poster Designs UK Tour and Asylum Season

Item Details

These posters and illustrations were collected and used for fly-postering the Front of House areas of venues on the original UK tour and Asylum season of Dead Dog in a Suitcase (and other love songs) in 2014.

A mixture of appropriated posters and original designs and illustrations (including those by Associate Artist Daryl Waller), a large number of these illustrations were put up into the foyers of the venues the show toured to, as well as in the Front of House tent at the Asylum. The idea was influenced by the political fly-posters seen around urban landscapes such as in London’s East End, and reflect a revolutionary voice of the people, a voice similar to the that in The Beggar’s Opera and in Dead Dog in a Suitcase (and other love songs).
