I am a musician with over 20 years of experience as a performer, composer and producer. As a performer, composer and producer I have collaborated with PJ Harvey, Ivor Award winning composer Charlotte Harding (Faber), Charles Hazlewood and the British Paraorchestra, Bibio (Warp Records), Dubkasm (Peng Sound), Malachai (Domino Records), Babyhead (Rockers revolt), The Allergies (Jalapeno records), League of the Black Rabbit, United Kingdoms, and the Most Trio among others. I have have toured as a performer with KneeHigh (Dead Dog in a Suitcase UK Tour in 2015 and 2019, the Tin Drum UK Tour 2017, and Ubu Karaoke at the Kneehigh Asylum in 2018 & 2019), and at the Globe Theatre in Emma Rice’s production of Twelfth Night (2017), and as musical director and composer on Mike Shepard’s 2022 production of Calvino Nights. As a composer for film, TV and animation I have worked with Aardman Animation Ltd, Cartoon Network, Wonky Films, Rumpus Films, Reflective Films, the BBC, Channel 4, Lucky G, Rinse the Sync, and Lift Music among others.

Founder of Alerta Kamarada, reggae band from Colombia, Atlantic Soul Machine, member of Afrikemet, and Ago Project. Original music composer of The Good Soul of Se Chuan, Nature’s Conservancy and the film Apatía among other short films and documentaries.Participated at the workshops with Mike Shepherd and also with Charles Hazlewood in Bogota Colombia.

Peter Buffery is a Sound Designer and Composer working primarily in theatre. Since graduating with an MA in Collaborative Theatre Production and Design from Guildhall School, he has worked with arts organisations such as Kneehigh, Multi Story Theatre, Beaford, Brainfools, Tete-Beche and Gorilla Circus. His versatile practice is comprised of computer-based composition and songwriting. Through sampling and synthesis, Peter creates a rich palette through which he strives to to tell stories in interesting ways. Peter’s two solo albums, ‘We Don’t Talk’ and ‘Ways of People’, can be found on all major streaming platforms. Peter operated sound for Kneehigh's Ubu!

I left the Theatre Design Course at The Riverside Studios (subsequently The Motley Design Course) in 1984. Since then, I have worked consistently with a diverse range of directors and companies in a multitude of venues.
