Dann studied performance at Falmouth University, and joined Kneehigh in 2015 as Communications Assistant after graduating. For 3 years, Dann was a core part of the team based in Truro that ran the company. He grew the company's social media profiles, built the Kneehigh Cookbook (now thisiskneehigh.co.uk), created the Walk With Me story app, alongside managing national and international campaigns for shows, helping produce Kneehigh Rambles community events and working the bar at the Asylum seasons. As well as producing and touring his own work, Dann has since gone on to work for SHOUT LGBT Festival (Creative Producer), One Dance UK (Project Manager), and is currently Creative Producer for NoFit State, the UK's leading contemporary circus company.

James is a multi-instrumentalist, educator and composer with a BA in Music from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He has spent much of the last decade as a theatre musician and has performed with or alongside several bands including: Eleven Magpies, Dau and Lunch Money Life. He is one half of the duo JOW (whose EP has received radio play on BBC Radio 6 Music) and is a core member and cello soloist in Olivier nominated composer, Benji Bower’s, Terra Coda Collective. www.jamesgowmusic.com

I'm a musician who had the pleasure of working with Kneehigh on some of the last big touring shows.

I am a musician with over 20 years of experience as a performer, composer and producer. As a performer, composer and producer I have collaborated with PJ Harvey, Ivor Award winning composer Charlotte Harding (Faber), Charles Hazlewood and the British Paraorchestra, Bibio (Warp Records), Dubkasm (Peng Sound), Malachai (Domino Records), Babyhead (Rockers revolt), The Allergies (Jalapeno records), League of the Black Rabbit, United Kingdoms, and the Most Trio among others. I have have toured as a performer with KneeHigh (Dead Dog in a Suitcase UK Tour in 2015 and 2019, the Tin Drum UK Tour 2017, and Ubu Karaoke at the Kneehigh Asylum in 2018 & 2019), and at the Globe Theatre in Emma Rice’s production of Twelfth Night (2017), and as musical director and composer on Mike Shepard’s 2022 production of Calvino Nights. As a composer for film, TV and animation I have worked with Aardman Animation Ltd, Cartoon Network, Wonky Films, Rumpus Films, Reflective Films, the BBC, Channel 4, Lucky G, Rinse the Sync, and Lift Music among others.

I’m a musical producer and multi instrument musician. Also worked as the tour manager for the FITB (Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Bogota)

Founder of Alerta Kamarada, reggae band from Colombia, Atlantic Soul Machine, member of Afrikemet, and Ago Project. Original music composer of The Good Soul of Se Chuan, Nature’s Conservancy and the film Apatía among other short films and documentaries.Participated at the workshops with Mike Shepherd and also with Charles Hazlewood in Bogota Colombia.

Peter Buffery is a Sound Designer and Composer working primarily in theatre.

Peter Buffery is a Sound Designer and Composer working primarily in theatre. Since graduating with an MA in Collaborative Theatre Production and Design from Guildhall School, he has worked with arts organisations such as Kneehigh, Multi Story Theatre, Beaford, Brainfools, Tete-Beche and Gorilla Circus. His versatile practice is comprised of computer-based composition and songwriting. Through sampling and synthesis, Peter creates a rich palette through which he strives to to tell stories in interesting ways. Peter’s two solo albums, ‘We Don’t Talk’ and ‘Ways of People’, can be found on all major streaming platforms. Peter operated sound for Kneehigh's Ubu!

I am a set and costume designer and director who worked with Emma Rice and Mike Shepherd on several productions from 2006 to 2018.

I left the Theatre Design Course at The Riverside Studios (subsequently The Motley Design Course) in 1984. Since then, I have worked consistently with a diverse range of directors and companies in a multitude of venues.
